Shreya Singh is a vocal coach and performer specialising in Popular Music. Her teaching approach is student-centred and science-informed, with a focus on healthy vocal technique, performance skills, and artistic expression.

She holds a Master’s in Vocal Studies with Distinction and a BMus in Popular Music Performance (Vocals) from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, London. She was also awarded the Outstanding Student Award at ICMP in 2022 and holds a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Performance from Rockschool.

She has experience teaching in both London and Delhi, including working as a Vocal Coach at ICMP and as a self-employed vocal tutor. She currently teaches at One World College of Music, Gurugram.

Her teaching focuses on building sustainable vocal practice while supporting each student’s individuality, creativity, and personal goals. She works across contemporary styles including pop, soul, pop-rock, and country, drawing on evidence-informed approaches such as MDH Breathing Coordination, Estill Voice Training, and primal sound work.

Alongside vocal technique, she integrates somatic practices including the Alexander Technique and the Franklin Method, facilitating a deeper connection between the voice and body. Her lessons also incorporate acting approaches inspired by Stanislavski, Michael Chekhov, and Laban Movement to develop the skills required for confident, embodied stage performance. This integrated voice-body-mind approach is designed to promote greater awareness across both practice and performance.

She creates a safe and supportive learning environment where curiosity and exploration are encouraged. Her work equips students with a variety of tools to develop technical skills, musicality, and creative expression.
