Ritesh is one of the finest musician and music educator to hail from the capital city of New Delhi. He performed extensively with many Rock and Jazz bands in the 90s including Nirvana, Bluefunk and Bandish. He studied Piano and Theory of Music at Delhi School of Music where he was appointed as the first faculty for Electronic Keyboards in 2001. His passion for Jazz earned him a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in 2000. With 2 decades of performance and 15 years of teaching behind him, Ritesh claims to have learnt as much from his students as from his teachers!

As a pianist he has performed as an accompanist with some of the leading sopranos and tenors in the city. He gave a solo recital at the German Embassy in New Delhi and also performed with the Indian National Youth Orchestra under the baton of Mr. Vijay Upadhyaya in 2011. He had the honour to perform with the Ao Church Choir for the President of India in 2013 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

His 5 years of research into the Hungarian music education system enabled him to author the first series of music textbooks for public schools in India titled “Bridge to Music” in 2010. Apart from heading the Bridge Music Academy, Ritesh currently represents ROLAND as their Brand Ambassador, Supports Western Music Education Association in capacity of Vice-president and treasurer and is the Country Manager & Director for Rockschool London in India.

Adithya is a gifted keyboardist and a prolific pianist from Delhi who started his musical journey at the age of 4. He started performing as a solo artist at the age of 10 and later established coalition with various bands. He was the President of the music society of Delhi Public School, Dwarka and won prestigious competitions including the Inter-Dps Nationals, India. He is currently the keyboardist and co-founder of the musical duo, C&A.

He has been training in western classical for over twelve years with Senior Piano teachers like Ritesh Khokhar, Late Hosie Palamkote, Will Clark (Royal Academy UK) and has been praised on many occasions by various renowned concert pianists including Raj Bhimani( New York), Marialena Fernandes (University of Vienna), Balazs FULEI(Head of Chamber Music Department, Liszt Music Academy), Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky( Steinway Concert Pianist) for his impeccable playing skills.

He secured a distinction in Grade 8, Piano Performance(ABRSM, UK) and topped the North India region in that session. He went to to earn an ATCL Performance Diploma in Solo Piano from Trinity College London with Distinction in 2020.

With eighteen years of experience in this field along with his passion for Psychology, he has developed an extensive knowledge about the instrument and ways of teaching it to different age groups with different needs. Having an eclectic taste in music, a thirst to imbibe the crucial elements of various genres of music is reflected in his pedagogy. His style of playing is one of a kind which is reflected in his compositions which never fails to mesmerize the audience.

Amit is a simple, unassuming and a sincere musician from the interior of East Delhi. He Belongs to a typical business class family. He got his inspiration from collage plays and stage performances (Rock, Hip Hop & Pop). His mother saved pin money and gifted him a keyboard on his birthday, thus began his musical journey! Despite the expectations to extend his family business, he chose a career in music.

Under the mentorship of Ritesh Khokhar, who is considers the finest musician and music educator, he completed Grade 6 from Trinity College London. His versatile tastes in music also led to completion of Grade 5 from Rockschool, UK. He is currently exploring music of Yanni and working on his own compositions in Pop and neo-classical genres.

Akhil Garg

Akhil is a keyboardist and pianist from the city of Meerut, currently pursuing his career in Music in Delhi.  He is a passionate musician who started his music career at a very early age, having his first performance at the age of five.

Self-taught till the age of 17 by performing in various intra and interschool competitions, his love and passion for music has just bloomed. He was the member and the head of the music society of AKG Engineering College, Ghaziabad. Apart from other commitments, he always managed time to teach music theory and piano to his peers in college. He has won various intercollege and interstate competitions in various colleges like IIT-Roorkee, IIT- Delhi, etc. He is currently working on freelance projects and performs solo.

He started his formal music education in 2015 and is currently studying piano under Mr. Ritesh Khokhar. He has completed his Grade 4 exam in Piano Performance from The Associated Board of Royal School of Music and Grade 6 from Trinity College London, achieving a Distinction. He has also completed his Grade 5 in music theory from ABRSM and is currently preparing for Grade 8 from ABRSM.

With the idea of passing his love and knowledge for music, he has been teaching past 2 years and has been performing past 17 years. Being fond of the romantic and modern era, he is influenced by F. Chopin, Erik Satie and Bill Evans, which can be observed in his compositions. With the thirst of learning more, he continues his journey as a performer and instructor.

Vishal Choudhary

Vishal is a singer/songwriter and a pianist from Lucknow. He developed his affinity for music since early childhood and started singing and performing at the age of 7. He kept performing at various competitions and along with it he learnt Indian classical for 5 years to make better sense of music around him. But it wasn’t until he came upon western music that he found his real voice and his authentic mode of expression. He then started writing his own songs with the guitar. In order to understand music in a more theoretical and deeper level he moved to Delhi and started learning the Piano under Mr. Ritesh Khokhar. He Completed his Grade 5 in Piano from ABRSM, UK. He is currently teaching piano in Bridge Music Academy and also working on producing his own music.

Music for Vishal is a way to connect to life and people. He feels that he can help people discover parts of themselves and their emotional selves through music. For him music is universal and part of human life and it also helps in emotional development and growth.

Rishabh, winner of Con Brio 2018 (India’s most prestigious competition for Piano) hails from the capital city of New Delhi. Being a prodigious pianist, his odyssey started at an early age of 5. During his high school years, the title of “Best Keyboardist” was bestowed on him by his school, DPS R.K. Puram on account of winning several major competitions.

His training in western classical music for over 6 years helped him to be on the coveted high scorer list by getting a distinction in Grade 8 Piano Performance (ABRSM, UK). Along with that he won the ROLAND Piano Competition, New Delhi in the year of 2016.

He performed for various international artists like Balázs Fülei (Head of Chamber Music, Franz Liszt Academy, Budapest), Raphael A. Lustchevsky (Concert Pianist, Warsaw) in their masterclasses, where he was appreciated for his interpretation skills.

The diverse nature of his repertoire helped him cultivate a holistic knowledge in music. He is admired for having erudite discussions with his students, guiding them to the path of excellency. Currently he is preparing for his Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Liszt Academy Of Music to take his next step in his professional musical literacy.

Sahitya Rajagopal

A gifted singer with a passion for Piano, Sahitya is pursuing Grade 8 in solo Piano from Trinity College London under the guidance of Mr. Ritesh Khokhar. She believes music is all about sharing your knowledge and passion, which is clearly reflected in her students. Apart from her achievements with western music, she is also pursuing Bachelors of Arts Degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Faculty of Music in Delhi University. She has a fascination for Music Therapy and plans to take it up in the near future. She is also the Secretary of SPIC MACAY (Society for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth) Delhi Chapter a Youth Movement. She teaches mostly at the Dwarka branch of the Bridge Music Academy.

Megha Verma

Megha is highly motivated, passionate and ardent lover of music. Her love for music and passion for teaching did not deter her from pursuing Piano after completing her Computer Science Engineering from Thapar University.

Hailing from National Capital Territory of Delhi, she found her love for Piano at a very early age. It was a perfect tryst when she first heard legends like Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann which instigated her to pursue piano. Under the guidance and mentorship of eminent pianists like Mr. Ritesh Khokhar, Mr. Will Clarke and Mr. Atul Tyagi, she has earned to her credit a Grade 5 from Trinity College London. She is currently a faculty at Bridge Music Academy and pursuing higher Grades. She has very high ethics and dedication towards her work. She wants to pursue her passion for higher goal of serving for a social cause (School/teaching for poor) in ensuing years.

Her enriching hands-on experience of performing with in-house band at Thapar University and teaching with varied set of people gave her the stimulus to tread the journey of being a concert pianist. She also has keen interest in Western music and pursuing her Vocals at Bridge Music Academy.

Back in Nagaland, on a fine evening, Imli; a 7 year old boy got himself hooked to this mesmerizing tune played by one of the legendary guitarists, Joe Satriani. Little did he know that it would change his life forever. He picked up the guitar for the first time in search of that exact same sound and the exact same feeling. It wasn’t long enough before he started figuring out his favourite tunes and the right technique all by himself. Thus began his musical journey, primarily centered around self determination and perseverance but later grew under the guidance of many different people who came along the way.
In his early years of learning, Imli played a lot in Church and even joined different kinds of bands including a Rock Band called Van Guard, and played in some prestigious concerts. Later on, he migrated to the capital city in pursuit of more knowledge and learned under various mentors for advances courses in Rock Guitar. But that wasn’t it, he went on to pursue his passion in Classical guitar as well from from Delhi School of Music which led him to complete Grade 8 in Trinity College of Music.

Coming from a whole another part of India, Imli has experienced hardship in finding the right teacher which is why he teaches each and every one of his students with all his might. In a sentence, he is a gentle, fun and down to earth person who has always been an inspiration to his students.

Pushpank got infected with the “music fever” in the quiet town of Allahabad, knowing little that his love for music will soon land him at capital city of New Delhi. He was heavily influenced by bands like Lamb of God, Opeth, Steve Vai, Joe Satariani, Dream Theater that he started learning guitar at the age of 16.

Formal lessons in guitar led him to do Grade 5 (ABRSM, UK) in classical guitar in 2012. He won best guitar player at IIT Allahabad for two consecutive years, i.e. 2012 and 2013. He soon shifted to Delhi and started learning with various top of the line guitar instructors in the city after which he completed his Grade 6 Guitar (RockSchool, UK) in 2013.

He has always been passionate about helping out his students in every phase of their learning, creating a unique and special bond with each one of them. Apart from this he spends his time producing music professionally and had learnt the discipline at Bridge Music Academy itself with Siddharth Sharma in 2014.

Vignesh Iyer, originally from the city of Mumbai is a diploma holder from the Swarnabhoomi Academy Of Music and is now pursuing his musical career in New Delhi. The 25 year old accomplished guitar player was awarded a certificate for ‘Outstanding Potential’ by the end of his stay at the institution. He is currently studying and exploring the vast world of Jazz. He has had vast previous experience playing with a number of bands as a sessions player. His expertise also extends to being a steady musical mind in a high pressure studio recording environment.

Vignesh Iyer has been educated in classical guitar by the extremely well renowned Mr.Ashley Quiney and Jazz has bestowed him with mentors such as Rubens De La Corte, Jake Hertzog, Pawan Benjamin and Jacob Damelin. His dedication to the study of music has equipped him technically, theoretically and from a human perspective to understand and impart musical education to students across all age groups and levels. He has been a teacher for close to half a decade now and prides himself on the ability to teach a number of styles ranging from Rock, Pop, Blues, Classical or Jazz. He is a stickler for teaching music the right way and ensures that the fundamentals of music once taught are permanently ingrained within the student, thereby creating a strong foundation for further pursuits.

The first time he realised that music was something he could be passionate about was when he heard Pink Floyd played on MTV when he was only 12. As a young teenager, Sudhanshu  got hooked to playing his acoustic guitar to avoid doing his homework and out of sheer boredom. It was not long before he started playing music for his family and friends. He soon started secretly writing his own music and compositions. He did things as most of his peers but soon realised that music was something he held dear and wasn’t willing to address it as just a hobby. Consequently he started playing with the college band and participated in many competitions. He won the title of IIT Roorkee Thomso for his instrumental guitar solos thrice. As a young mechanical engineering graduate, he then switched roads and moved on to pursue his love for music as a conscious career choice.

Having completed Grade 8 from Trinity College London studying under the guidance of senior guitar teachers at Bridge Music Academy, he now teaches at the Academy! To fuel his passion for sharing musical knowledge he expanded his reach through working in other institutions and schools like GD Goenka, Salwaan Public School, Vasant Valley School and Blue Notes Music Academy.

He claims that is alliance with the band, ‘NIRVAAN’ led him to enhance his virtuosity when they launched their album on many prestigious platforms like Doordarshan, KappaTV and other digital portals like ITunes, Spotify. He also works as a freelancer for various commercial and non commercial projects.

Reuben Narain

Reuben Narain started playing drums at the age of 15 in his school band at DPS R.K Puram. Besides studying with private instructors from an early age, he studied jazz drums formally at the prestigious Drummers Collective in New York and went on to pursue a Bachelors in Music at the Berklee College Of Music, Boston where he was the recipient of a $28,000 scholarship offered by the school.

He has been a part of diverse network of bands over the years, one of which was the critically acclaimed ‘ True Colours’ that led him to win many competitions in the city. He has been a member of the Delhi Music Theatre, ‘Annie’, a Boston based contemporary jazz band, and ‘The Moss Quartet’ that got featured at the Berklee Performance Center and received air time on Boston Radio. He has also played in musicals such as Music Man.

Reuben is a band leader in his own right and led his trio “Drift’, that recorded its album ‘Nico’ in 2016. In the last few years, he has performed with a variety of bands such as Artistes Unlimited, Faridkot, Frequency, Café Turtle jazz trio and along with that he has also had the privilege of associating with celebrated jazz artists such as Tyris Washington, Margos Hererra and Rory Stuart. He still continues to play with many celebrated artists from India including Bipul Chetri, Manta Sidhu amongst others.

He is one of the most senior teachers in the city and is well-known for his unique set of skills for teaching the instrument. His love for playing the piano led him to expand his knowledge about harmonies along with rhythm which is reflected in his lessons. His students include professional drummers of well-known bands across India.

A top notch and accomplished drummer hailing from the beautiful province of Uttarakhand. He started playing at the age of nine out of his own interest following his idols and got into professional learning by the time he turned eleven. There was no looking back for him after that. He is a promising musician who has believed in one ideology, that is, people who work hard pave their own way for success and even luck. He kept working really hard on his own before he found himself learning with few of the best drummers in the country like Joshua Grant and Gyan Singh. He went on the successfully complete Grade 8 from Rockschool, London.

He has played with countless celebrity fames and renowned bands and even shared stages with Sushmit Sen(Indian Ocean), Gyan Singh(Mrigya), Usha Uthup and Leslie Lewis. Being a self taught musician for most of his life gave him a different insight on the need for good teachers, which is why he has worked equally hard on his pedagogical skills to train and inspire more students.

If four things are followed – having a great aim, acquiring knowledge, hard work, and perseverance – then anything can be achieved. We are proud to see him as a part of Bridge family.

Vaibhav is a gifted drummer who started his journey at a very young age. His first experience as a drum student was when he got tutored by acclaimed Drummer Steve Kid. His active participation in Church music and knowledge about Gospel Music helped him learn different ways of experimenting on his drumming skills. Post His studies He joined Bridge Music Academy as a student and under the guidance of Ashwani Verma, went on to top Grade 8 in India scoring 99% in the Trinity Rock & Pop exam, a record that will take extraordinary effort to be broken. Vaibhav does not believe in any particular artist and loves to experiment with various genres of music. Performing alongside various bands in Delhi including Karma and the Cartels, Delhi Indie Project , Punjabi Singer Indeep Bakshi, Brothers 4 to name a few, he is much in demand as a teacher and a mentor. His humble approach and technical knowledge makes him one of the finest musicians and a sought after teacher in the city.

Ashwani is amongst the most influential Drummers in the country with his students currently performing with some of the biggest bands/artists. A Grade 8 Drumkit and grade 6 in Vocals from Trinity College London. He is extremely passionate about teaching music and has been a regular music faculty at the Carmel Convent School for 2 decades now. Over the years he has held many fascinating positions in the industry such as former consultant with Casio India Pvt Ltd, former production engineer for Fever 104 FM New Delhi and founder of AVEC VERVE a music production house into music for radio, film and television.

He was also founder member of Orange Street, a grunge rock outfit which is amongst the earliest bands of the independent music scene in India. They were part of the late 90’s early 2000 movement and toured extensively across India apart from playing a few shows in Europe. HE has recorded/played sessions with/for following prominent music acts in the country:

  • Shubha Mudgal/ Santanu Moitra (Bombay)
  • Daniel B George (Bombay)
  • Parikrama (Delhi)
  • Kailash Kher
  • Rabbi Shergill
  • Euphoria (Delhi)

Ashwani is currently part of the Music groups “Unplugged” an acoustic retro classic rock outfit and HFT a trio led by guitarist Arjun Sen apart from teaching at the Bridge Music Academy.

Himanshu Choudhary

Himanshu Choudhary, a promising drummer hailing from the beautiful city of Meerut is currently based in New Delhi. He has secured the highest scorer position in many of his exams and finally went on to complete Grade 8 in Drums, Rockschool. Greatly influenced by drummers such as Mike Portnoy and Gavin Harrison, he loves playing progressive and funk genres.

He is one of the founding members of Hindi Rock band, “Jatasyaa” and has contributed in different aspects of the band’s compositions. He has traveled across India and formed association with a lot of critically acclaimed bands and Bollywood sensations such as Sonu Kakkar, Darshan Rawal, Simar Kaur by virtue of his command over a wide variety of styles.

Currently he is the Drummer for a Delhi based Alt/Prog Hindi Rock band “Safar” and is in demand as a teacher as much as a performer in the Delhi Music Circuit.

Joshua Peter is a Delhi based performer, composer and a teacher.

Singing with his church choir at the age of 12 is how his journey began. He received most of his early training in his church participating in several gospel concerts as a singer and an accompanist through most of his teenage years. After realising his passion for singing he started training for western contemporary vocals under Mr. Prateek Sen at Bridge Music Academy. Not long into his learning he got an opportunity to substitute for his teacher for one class. He soon realised his love for sharing the art in the form of teaching and soon began to give vocal lessons.

Since then he has served as the western vocal teacher in Manav Sthali School, Somerville School and is currently teaching at Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar. He also works as a freelance teacher and a choir trainer in Delhi and NCR working with different schools and churches. He has also trained several Acapella groups for various colleges over the years.

Apart from his teaching experience, Joshua is a vocalist and the keyboard player for a popular Delhi based Hindi rock band ‘Antariksh’. He has had the pleasure of performing at various notable music festivals, college festivals and concerts all across the country and abroad.

Though his main instrument is voice he also loves playing the piano and has been trained in the same under Mr. Manish Babu for 4 years.

Shelly is a gifted singer born and brought up in Delhi. Her love for gospel music inspired her to learn and pursue music further. At an early age, she recognized her passion for music and started singing in school choirs, church choirs and participated in several competitions.

After completing her school education, she joined Bridge Music Academy and completed her grade 5 in vocals in 2017, under the guidance of Mr. Joshua Peter and Grade 6 under the guidance of Mr. Sochipem Kashak in 2018.  She joined Bridge music academy as a faculty in 2017 and Salwan Public Schools for 3 years. She prepared the students and helped in organising several concerts hosted by Academy.

Shelly holds a Bachelors Degree in English Honours from Delhi University and is now pursuing her post-graduation in the same. She is currently pursuing her grade 8 in vocals and further grades in Piano. She is also working as a western music teacher in a renowned school in Delhi and continues her teaching practice at Bridge Music Academy.

Isha Singh Baswan, born and brought up in  Meerut district (western Uttar Pradesh), is a Vocalist, Composer, Songwriter and a Vocal Instructor.

Second in the lineage of musicians after her mother, Isha started her journey into the world of music at an early age of 6 singing in the school choir. She soon realized her passion will lead her into pursuing music professionally. She moved to Delhi in 2012 chasing her musical ambitions to learn under some of the finest vocal coaches in the city, at the Bridge Music Academy. She completed her Grade 8 in contemporary vocals from Rockschool, UK. She is also pursuing professional training in Hindustani classical singing. She spends her time making music, performing with bands and teaching at the Bridge Music Academy.

Sochipem Kashak is one of the leading musicians from the north-east, India. He is a gifted singer, songwriter, guitarist and a music teacher. His passion for music was traced back to his early age when he was aged 5, since then, he has never stopped singing and playing instruments. He did his grade 8 from Trinity College London, top the exam from all India. He is the founder member of a Christian band “THE EPISTLES”.

For his contributions to music, he has done two 2 years of training on teaching music and composition organized by Carnegie Hall, New York 2008 – 2009, also attended training program at Carnegie Hall, New York in 2009 for the same. He has been teaching western music (vocal and instruments) in Delhi Public School – Dwarka since 2007 and joined Bridge Music Academy as faculty member in 2010. He was known for his love and care for the children.

He performed extensively with many Rock and Jazz bands in the 90s including Nirvana, Bluefunk and Bandish. He studied Piano and Theory of Music at Delhi School of Music where he was appointed as the first faculty for Electronic Keyboards in 2001. His passion for Jazz earned him a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in 2000. With 2 decades of performance and 15 years of teaching behind him, Ritesh claims to have learnt as much from his students as from his teachers!

As a pianist he has performed as an accompanist with some of the leading sopranos and tenors in the city. He gave a solo recital at the German Embassy in New Delhi and also performed with the Indian National Youth Orchestra under the baton of Mr. Vijay Upadhyaya in 2011. He had the honour to perform with the Ao Church Choir for the President of India in 2013 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

His 5 years of research into the Hungarian music education system enabled him to author the first series of music textbooks for public schools in India titled “Bridge to Music” in 2010. Apart from heading the Bridge Music Academy, Ritesh currently represents ROLAND as their Brand Ambassador, Supports Western Music Education Association in capacity of Vice-president and treasurer and is the Country Manager & Director for Rockschool London in India.

Adithya is a gifted keyboardist and a prolific pianist from Delhi who started his musical journey at the age of 4. He started performing as a solo artist at the age of 10 and later established coalition with various bands. He was the President of the music society of Delhi Public School, Dwarka and won prestigious competitions including the Inter-Dps Nationals, India. He is currently the keyboardist and co-founder of the musical duo, C&A.

He has been training in western classical for over twelve years with Senior Piano teachers like Ritesh Khokhar, Late Hosie Palamkote, Will Clark (Royal Academy UK) and has been praised on many occasions by various renowned concert pianists including Raj Bhimani( New York), Marialena Fernandes (University of Vienna), Balazs FULEI(Head of Chamber Music Department, Liszt Music Academy), Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky( Steinway Concert Pianist) for his impeccable playing skills.

He secured a distinction in Grade 8, Piano Performance(ABRSM, UK) and topped the North India region in that session. He went to to earn an ATCL Performance Diploma in Solo Piano from Trinity College London with Distinction in 2020.

With eighteen years of experience in this field along with his passion for Psychology, he has developed an extensive knowledge about the instrument and ways of teaching it to different age groups with different needs. Having an eclectic taste in music, a thirst to imbibe the crucial elements of various genres of music is reflected in his pedagogy. His style of playing is one of a kind which is reflected in his compositions which never fails to mesmerize the audience.

A gifted singer with a passion for Piano, Sahitya is pursuing Grade 8 in solo Piano from Trinity College London under the guidance of Mr. Ritesh Khokhar. She believes music is all about sharing your knowledge and passion, which is clearly reflected in her students. Apart from her achievements with western music, she is also pursuing Bachelors of Arts Degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Faculty of Music in Delhi University. She has a fascination for Music Therapy and plans to take it up in the near future. She is also the Secretary of SPIC MACAY (Society for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth) Delhi Chapter a Youth Movement. She teaches mostly at the Dwarka branch of the Bridge Music Academy.

Megha Verma

Megha Verma

Megha is highly motivated, passionate and ardent lover of music. Her love for music and passion for teaching did not deter her from pursuing Piano after completing her Computer Science Engineering from Thapar University.

Hailing from National Capital Territory of Delhi, she found her love for Piano at a very early age. It was a perfect tryst when she first heard legends like Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann which instigated her to pursue piano. Under the guidance and mentorship of eminent pianists like Mr. Ritesh Khokhar, Mr. Will Clarke and Mr. Atul Tyagi, she has earned to her credit a Grade 5 from Trinity College London. She is currently a faculty at Bridge Music Academy and pursuing higher Grades. She has very high ethics and dedication towards her work. She wants to pursue her passion for higher goal of serving for a social cause (School/teaching for poor) in ensuing years.

Her enriching hands-on experience of performing with in-house band at Thapar University and teaching with varied set of people gave her the stimulus to tread the journey of being a concert pianist. She also has keen interest in Western music and pursuing her Vocals at Bridge Music Academy.
