Rishabh, winner of Con Brio 2018 (India’s most prestigious competition for Piano) hails from the capital city of New Delhi. Being a prodigious pianist, his odyssey started at an early age of 5. During his high school years, the title of “Best Keyboardist” was bestowed on him by his school, DPS R.K.Puram on account of winning several major competitions.
His training in western classical music for over 6 years helped him to be on the coveted high scorer list by getting a distinction in Grade 8 Piano Performance (ABRSM, UK). Along with that, he won the ROLAND Piano Competition, New Delhi in the year of 2016.
He has performed for various international artists including Balázs Fülei (Head of Chamber Music, Franz Liszt Academy, Budapest), Raphael A. Lustchevsky (Concert Pianist, Warsaw) in their masterclasses, where he was appreciated for his interpretation skills.
The diverse nature of his repertoire helped him cultivate a holistic knowledge in music. He is admired for having erudite discussions with his students, guiding them to the path of excellency. He also has experience in teaching people with special needs. Currently, he is on a full scholarship to pursue his Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London under the tutelage of a worldly-celebrated Steinway artist Mr. Philip Fowke.
