Manas Pratim Bora

Manas Pratim Bora is a passionate early childhood music educator, skilled pianist, and emerging composer from Guwahati, Assam. His musical journey began at the age of 5, and over the years, he has blended his formal training in Western classical piano with a deep-rooted love for expressive performance and music education . Manas currently serves as a music teacher at Pawthways Early Years, where he designs and leads innovative music programs for children aged 2 to 6. He also heads the school’s after-school music enrichment initiative, Rhythm & Raaga, which introduces children to piano playing, Hindustani vocal music, and foundational music theory in a fun, accessible way. With a strong belief in the transformative power of music, his classroom approach integrates elements of mindfulness, storytelling, and hands-on exploration. Manas is pursuing the ATCL Performance Diploma in Piano from Trinity College London, having already completed grade 8 in classical piano from Trinity College London with distinction and built a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary styles. As a performing pianist, he actively collaborates with his rock band in Delhi, contributing rich textures and dynamic arrangements to genres ranging from progressive rock to blues. With a unique intersection of interests in early childhood development, music theory, and performance, Manas continues to refine his teaching pedagogy, ensuring that every child, regardless of background or skill level, finds joy and confidence through music. His vibrant classroom energy, along with his thoughtful musical sensibility, make him a dynamic presence both on stage and in the teaching space.
