AKSHAY UPADHYAY
Becoming a music director was a childhood dream for Akshay. He grew up as a multi-instrumentalist playing instruments including Piano, guitars, drums among others. However, Piano was always close to his heart and continues to be his principal instrument. He Won the 1st prize playing keyboards in an all India music fest at the age of 15 years. He went on to successfully cleared his Grade 5 in solo piano from Trinity College London and is currently pursuing the Grade 8. Music knows no boundaries, and this was particularly true for the approach Akshay took to music. He was always fascinated by multiple genres of music, be in Indian classical, bollywood, western classical, blues or classic rock.
Apart from his performance and teaching skills, Akshay is also a very successful music producer and runs his own music studio. He has produced Hindi and Punjabi music for big production houses including T-series and PTC Punjabi. He has extensively performed with bands all over India and recently earned the honour to performed solo piano at Ambani’s house, Antelia.
Today with over 15 years experience at the Piano and close to a decade of teaching behind him, he is much in demand as a pianist, educator and music producer.
