NALIN VINAYAK
After regularly appearing in music examinations since the age of 11, Nalin was awarded an Associate Diploma in Guitar Performance from Rockschool UK in December 2016. Nalin, however, always found his space in the area of music composition and won several competitions and accolades as a solo instrumentalist playing his music across college festivals during his graduation. He has also been featured in the acclaimed guitar magazine “Guitarist World” for his song “Bold Instinct”. Over the years, Nalin has developed his skills as a Music Composer, Producer and vocalist. He was also awarded a Diploma in Audio Engineering from KM College of Music and Technology in 2020.
In March 2020, Nalin released his debut album Fire – a unique record featuring 8 tracks in 8 distinct genres – on platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify. His work is critically acclaimed and brought to attention by major music publications such as Rolling Stone, Score Magazine and Rock Street Journal. In addition, Nalin was also awarded as the Best Score Composer for his work on Idea Multimedia’s short film Caged. With experience in playing across genres and roles, composing using guitars for films and engineering entire records, Nalin brings a fresh and holistic perspective of his instrument to the table. Students are bound to benefit greatly from his ample experience as a career musician in addition to his profound knowledge of the guitar.
