BHASKAR GURUNG
Bhaskar holds an L.R.S.L (Licenciate Diploma) in teaching as well as a Grade 8 in electric guitar performance from Rockschool U.K.
He is a much sought-after performer who fronts the new breed of Fusion Jazz/ Rock guitar players in the capital. Over the years has played with numerous bands such as the Neue Jazz Collective, Drift, Frequency, BollyJazz, Crimson, Cross Breedz and True Colors to name a few.
Fusion jazz/rock is what excites him most, and he is greatly influenced by jazz greats such as Greg Howe, Tim Miller, Pat Metheny and Allan Holdsworth.
Bhaskar, an active educator, over his 17-year teaching career has taught at known educational institutions such as the Performers Collective, Vasant Valley and Shri Ram School. He currently teachers at the Bridge Music Academy.
