Ramya Khera
Ramya Khera discovered her passion for music at the young age of five, beginning her journey with an electronic keyboard instrument. Throughout her school years, she actively participated in inter-school band competitions, earning accolades for her exceptional skills, including the prestigious title of “Best Keyboardist.” Her early exposure to performance and competition laid a strong foundation for her musical growth.
In 2017, Ramya embarked on a professional path in Western classical piano under the mentorship of Mr. Adithya Sreeraam, successfully completing Grade 7 in Piano Performance from Rockschool, UK and Grade 5 in Theory from ABRSM, UK. She further honed her musicianship at Delhi University’s Gargi College, where she played an integral role in the Western Music Society—first as a pianist for three years and later as a vocalist. While she has a deep affinity for contemporary and minimalist music, her artistic curiosity extends across various genres, and she is actively engaged in music production and original compositions.
Ramya emphasizes a personalized approach to instruction, tailoring lessons to each student’s unique needs and interests. She focuses on developing technical proficiency, musicality, and creativity, ensuring that students not only progress in their skills but also experience the joy and fulfilment of making music.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in instilling confidence, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music, guiding students to use the piano as a powerful medium for enrichment, artistic and personal growth, and she is committed to guiding her students on this rewarding path.
