Alisha’s musical journey began at an early age, shaped by gospel music in church and her passion for school choirs. By completing her Grade 8 from Trinity Rock ‘n’ Pop while still in school, she built a strong foundation in music, later discovering joy in arranging and collaborating within an A Cappella Society during college.

Education & Advocacy
With a Master’s in Arts of Education, Alisha has been a staunch advocate for integrating arts into school curricula, emphasizing its importance for self-expression and holistic development. Her work with programs like Jesus & Mary College Educational Programme (JMCEP) and Music Basti highlights her dedication to empowering students through music, addressing societal issues, and fostering leadership skills.

Professional Experience
Alisha has worked with NCERT’s Adult Education Department, creating engaging primers for adult learners, and with NGOs to craft music-based lessons on topics like Unity and Diversity. She believes in making music education fun, accessible, and impactful.

Performing Artist
As a performer, Alisha’s expertise spans genres like R&B, Soul, Funk, Indie, Soft Rock, and Pop. Her live shows and collaborations bring valuable insights into vocal techniques, enriching her role as a music educator for both live and recording contexts.
