Deepthi Raghu, a vocalist from Bangalore, has been in the pursuit of acquiring the best vocal skills and technique for more than 7 years under the guidance of various teachers. She started with Hindustani Vocals & Flute in her young age of learning and soon developed a keen interest in Western Music. The opportunity to learn and research about different cultures and their art forms always seemed too interesting to miss out on.
She holds a Diploma in music from KM Conservatory, Chennai, where she specialized in Western Classical Vocal Performance, Production and Music Education. Furthermore, Deepthi has been fortunate to have trained under Nina Kanter in Western Classical Vocal Performance, and Western Contemporary Vocal Technique, Vocal Health under Vasundhara Vee. She actively teaches in schools, music institutes and performs in different places as a freelance singer. She has been part of various Vocal ensembles like ‘Vox Madras’ under the mentorship of Nina Kanter, and ‘Indian Choral Ensemble’ under the mentorship of Kalyani Nair. Deepthi, with her years of learning and training with numerous musicians has developed her own unique way of connecting with students instantly. She is known to guide them towards perfection and becoming self-sufficient musicians.
