Western Classical - Offline

The music and the teaching pedagogy of Western classical music has evolved over centuries, and till date forms the basis of all the western music as we know it. The concepts of harmony, complexity of music, forms in music and compositional styles have come a long way since the renaissance period. Composers like Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt, along with thousands of other composers, have played a key role in the evolution of classical music. We at Bridge Music Academy take special care to sensitise our students about all forms of music and importance thereof so they are able to appreciate a wide variety of music.

Music is by nature a social activity. Everytime people get together for any social gathering, be it birth, death, wedding, birthdays, celebrations, etc. there is always music. Learning music has always been about spending time with your teacher. More than the knowledge, music teaching often involves a teacher sharing his/her passion for the artform with the student. Classical Music for most instruments involves the teacher accompanying the students, which is best done in a face to face lesson. If the logistics allow, we strongly recommend students to enjoy learning in-person with the teacher at a branch near you.

Bridge Music Academy was the first Academy in Delhi/NCR to bring high quality education for Western Classical and Contemporary music under one roof. Many of our students go on to complete advanced qualifications like Grade 8 and Diplomas in classical music from the UK regulated exam boards. This helps them build a strong foundation in music and open pathways to higher education abroad. Some of the highlights of our student’s achievements include winning the ConBrio Piano Competition (the most respected annual piano competition in India held at NCPA auditorium in Mumbai) and securing admission and scholarships at Ithaca College, Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music & Dance to name a few.
