Chief Executive

Ritesh is one of the finest musician and music educator to hail from the capital city of New Delhi. He performed extensively with many Rock and Jazz bands in the 90s including Nirvana, Bluefunk and Bandish. He studied Piano and Theory of Music at Delhi School of Music where he was appointed as the first faculty for Electronic Keyboards in 2001. His passion for Jazz earned him a scholarship from Berklee College of Music in 2000. With 2 decades of performance and 15 years of teaching behind him, Ritesh claims to have learnt as much from his students as from his teachers!

As a pianist he has performed as an accompanist with some of the leading sopranos and tenors in the city. He gave a solo recital at the German Embassy in New Delhi and also performed with the Indian National Youth Orchestra under the baton of Mr. Vijay Upadhyaya in 2011. He had the honour to perform with the Ao Church Choir for the President of India in 2013 at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

His 5 years of research into the Hungarian music education system enabled him to author the first series of music textbooks for public schools in India titled “Bridge to Music” in 2010. Apart from heading the Bridge Music Academy, Ritesh currently represents ROLAND as their Brand Ambassador and works as an Academic Consultant for Music with Trinity College London.

Piano Faculty

Adithya is a gifted keyboardist and a prolific pianist from Delhi who started his musical journey at the age of 4. He started performing as a solo artist at the age of 10 and later established coalition with various bands. He was the President of the music society of Delhi Public School, Dwarka and won prestigious competitions including the Nationals competition (Accompaniment) in India. He is currently the keyboardist and co-founder of the musical duo, C&A.

He has been training in western classical for ten years now. He completed his Grade 7 in Piano (ABRSM, UK) and topped North India region. He is currently pursuing his Grade 8 from ABRSM and Diploma in Piano performance from Trinity College London.

With sixteen years of experience, he has developed an extensive knowledge about the instrument and ways of teaching it to different age groups. Having an eclectic taste in music, a thirst to imbibe the essential elements of various genres of music is reflected in his pedagogy. His style of playing is one of a kind which is reflected in his compositions which never fails to mesmerize the audience.

Megha Verma

Megha Verma

Megha is highly motivated, passionate and ardent lover of music. Her love for music and passion for teaching did not deter her from pursuing Piano after completing her Computer Science Engineering from Thapar University.

Hailing from National Capital Territory of Delhi, she found her love for Piano at a very early age. It was a perfect tryst when she first heard legends like Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann which instigated her to pursue piano. Under the guidance and mentorship of eminent pianists like Mr. Ritesh Khokhar, Mr. Will Clarke and Mr. Atul Tyagi, she has earned to her credit a Grade 5 from Trinity College London. She is currently a faculty at Bridge Music Academy and pursuing higher Grades. She has very high ethics and dedication towards her work. She wants to pursue her passion for higher goal of serving for a social cause (School/teaching for poor) in ensuing years.

Her enriching hands-on experience of performing with in-house band at Thapar University and teaching with varied set of people gave her the stimulus to tread the journey of being a concert pianist. She also has keen interest in Western music and pursuing her Vocals at Bridge Music Academy.

Sahitya Rajagopal

A gifted singer with a passion for Piano, Sahitya is pursuing Grade 8 in solo Piano from Trinity College London under the guidance of Mr. Ritesh Khokhar. She believes music is all about sharing your knowledge and passion, which is clearly reflected in her students. Apart from her achievements with western music, she is also pursuing Bachelors of Arts Degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal from Faculty of Music in Delhi University. She has a fascination for Music Therapy and plans to take it up in the near future. She is also the Secretary of SPIC MACAY (Society for the promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth) Delhi Chapter a Youth Movement. She teaches mostly at the Dwarka branch of the Bridge Music Academy.

Guitar / Bass Guitar Faculty

Pushpank was smitten by the music bug in the quite town of Allahabad, knowing little that his love for music will soon land him at capital city of New Delhi. He was heavily influenced by bands like Lanb of God, Opeth, Steve Vai, Joe Satariani, Dream Theater, he started learning guitar at the age of 16. Formal lessons in guitar led him to do Grade 5 (ABRSM, UK) in classical guitar in 2012. He won best guitar player at IIT Allahabad for two consecutive years, i.e. 2012 and 2013. He soon shifted to Delhi and learning with various top of the line guitar instructors in the city. He completed his Grade 6 (RockSchool, UK) in 2013. He is a zealous music producer and learnt music production at the Bridge Music Academy with Siddharth Sharma in 2014. Currently he spends his time making music, playing bass and guitar with local bands and teaching at the Bridge Music Academy.

Vignesh Iyer, originally from the city of Mumbai is a diploma holder from the Swarnabhoomi Academy Of Music and is now pursuing his musical career in New Delhi. The 25 year old accomplished guitar player was awarded a certificate for ‘Outstanding Potential’ by the end of his stay at the institution. He is currently studying and exploring the vast world of Jazz. He has had vast previous experience playing with a number of bands as a sessions player. His expertise also extends to being a steady musical mind in a high pressure studio recording environment.

Vignesh Iyer has been educated in classical guitar by the extremely well renowned Mr.Ashley Quiney and Jazz has bestowed him with mentors such as Rubens De La Corte, Jake Hertzog, Pawan Benjamin and Jacob Damelin. His dedication to the study of music has equipped him technically, theoretically and from a human perspective to understand and impart musical education to students across all age groups and levels. He has been a teacher for close to half a decade now and prides himself on the ability to teach a number of styles ranging from Rock, Pop, Blues, Classical or Jazz. He is a stickler for teaching music the right way and ensures that the fundamentals of music once taught are permanently ingrained within the student, thereby creating a strong foundation for further pursuits.

Salil Charaya is a guitar player from Meerut. He attained his education from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, Chennai and holds a 2 year diploma in Jazz.

During his 2 years at Swarnabhoomi,he studied under many amazingly talented faculties such as:-Tom Brislin (USA), Phil Maturano (MI instructor), Ricardo Vogt (Grammy awardee brazilian guitarist), Ric Fierabracci (Grammy nominated Bass Guitarist), Brian Metreyon (Mcnally Smith College Of Music Instructor).

Salil has performed many prestigious concert all over South India with his fellow musicians from SAM. Also a gifted singer, he listens to a wide variety of music, Indian Music, Classic Rock, Blues, Country and Jazz being his major influences.

He has a deep understanding of different forms of music ranging from Rock, Pop, Soul, jazz, Rnb, bebop, Blues etc. Apart from teaching at Bridge Music Academy, he currently plays for delhi based sufi-jazz band called “Too Many Cooks”

The first time he realised that music was something he could be passionate about was when he heard Pink Floyd played on MTV when he was only 12. As a young teenager, Sudhanshu  got hooked to playing his acoustic guitar to avoid doing his homework and out of sheer boredom. It was not long before he started playing music for his family and friends. He soon started secretly writing his own music and compositions. He did things as most of his peers did but soon he realised that music was something he held dear and wasn’t willing to address it as just a hobby. As a young adult and a techanical engineering graduate Sudhanshu Mishra switched roads and moved on to pursue his love for music as a conscious career choice. He studied guitar music from the Rock School. He won the title of IIT Roorkee Thomso  for his instrumental guitar solos thrice. Having completed Grade 8 from Trinity College London studying under the guidance of senior guitar teachers at Bridge Music Academy, he now teaches at the Academy and at GD Goenka School, Greater Noida to fuel his passion for sharing his musical knowledge. He also works on his own music during leisure and freelances as a music composer for varied commercial and non commercial projects.

Rudraksh hails from Meerut but his passion for guitar has pulled him permanently to Delhi. He started playing guitar at very early age not knowing how serious his relationship with guitar would become! Rudraksh loves to compose heavy riffs and melodious solos for his band ‘Jatasyaa’. His influences include John Petrucci, Steve Vai,Guthrie Govan and many more.

He has spend past couple of years learning from some of the best guitar teachers in the industry. He aspires to be one of the best performers in times to come and keeps his ears open to all kinds of music and mind open to all learning opportunities. having completed his Grade 6 from Rockschool, he is now pursuing Grade 8 in Rock & Pop Guitar from Trinity College London.

Rudraksh is one of the youngest and most passionate guitar teachers at the Academy. Through his work with Bridge he wishes to improve the standards of music teaching and performance in the country, which is well in line with the vision of Bridge Music Academy. His music allows him all the things he loves, i.e. travel, teaching and performance.

Vaibhav is a gifted drummer who started his journey at a very young age. His first experience as a drum student was when he got tutored by acclaimed Drummer Steve Kid. His active participation in Church music and knowledge about Gospel Music helped him learn different ways of experimenting on his drumming skills. Post His studies He joined Bridge Music Academy as a student and under the guidance of Ashwani Verma, went on to top Grade 8 in India scoring 99% in the Trinity Rock & Pop exam, a record that will take extraordinary effort to be broken. Vaibhav does not believe in any particular artist and loves to experiment with various genres of music. Performing alongside various bands in Delhi including Karma and the Cartels, Delhi Indie Project , Punjabi Singer Indeep Bakshi, Brothers 4 to name a few, he is much in demand as a teacher and a mentor. His humble approach and technical knowledge makes him one of the finest musicians and a sought after teacher in the city.

Ashwani is amongst the most influential Drummers in the country with his students currently performing with some of the biggest bands/artists. A Grade 8 Drumkit and grade 6 in Vocals from Trinity College London. He is extremely passionate about teaching music and has been a regular music faculty at the Carmel Convent School for 2 decades now. Over the years he has held many fascinating positions in the industry such as former consultant with Casio India Pvt Ltd, former production engineer for Fever 104 FM New Delhi and founder of AVEC VERVE a music production house into music for radio, film and television.

He was also founder member of Orange Street, a grunge rock outfit which is amongst the earliest bands of the independent music scene in India. They were part of the late 90’s early 2000 movement and toured extensively across India apart from playing a few shows in Europe. HE has recorded/played sessions with/for following prominent music acts in the country:

  • Daniel B George (Bombay)
  • Parikrama (Delhi)

Ashwani is currently part of the Music groups “Unplugged” an acoustic retro classic rock outfit and HFT a trio led by guitarist Arjun Sen apart from teaching at the Bridge Music Academy.

Parth is one of the most promising drummer to hail from the beautiful city of Chandigarh. He completed his grades studying the curriculum of Rockschool under the tutelage of Reuben Narain at New Delhi. He moved on to take master classes with Mike Jonston and Matt Halpern. Parth’s strengths lies in his ability to adapt to multiple genres of music, ranging from Folk rock to Metal. Over the years he has performed with Chapter 1, Dhaatu, Shani Funk, to name a few. He recently finished a tour performing with Falak Shabir and is recording sessions with Laman (Himachali Folk band).

Currently he keeps busy teaching at Chandigarh branch of the Academy and performing with his band The Light Years.

Himanshu Choudhary is a promising Meerut born, Delhi based drummer. He has topped the Rockschool Exams in India twice at Grade 4 and Grade 6 level and went on to complete Grade 8 in Drums. He is a founding member of Hindi Rock band, “Jatasyaa”, which has been performing in the professional circuit for the past 5 years. Apart from playing drums he has contributed many compositions to the band. His command over a wide variety of styles allows his to perform sessions for various bands/artists in Delhi. Greatly influenced by drummers such as Mike Portnoy and Gavin Harrison, he loves playing progressive and funk genres. Currently he is much in demand as a teacher and performer in Delhi music scene.

Isha Singh Baswan, born and brought up in  Meerut district (western Uttar Pradesh), is a Vocalist, Composer, Songwriter and a Vocal Instructor.

Second in the lineage of musicians after her mother, Isha started her journey into the world of music at an early age of 6 singing in the school choir. She soon realized her passion will lead her into pursuing music professionally. She moved to Delhi in 2012 chasing her musical ambitions to learn under some of the finest vocal coaches in the city, at the Bridge Music Academy. After completing Grade 4 (ABRSM) and Grade 6 from RockSchool, UK. She is currently pursuing Grade 8 from Trinity College London alongside pursuing professional training in Hindustani classical singing. She spends her time making music, performing with bands and teaching at the Bridge Music Academy.

Mitika Kanwar, an Indian Classical Vocalist from Indore  and Patiala Gharana took training from her father, Kanwar Iqbal. She has won All India Classical Vocal and Semi Classical Vocal Recital consecutively for 5 years. Her active interest in different styles of music attracted her towards Western Music. For last 5 years she has been actively singing Jazz, Pop and contemporary styles of music and has collaborated with various artists from Chandigarh and New Delhi. Her interest lies in studying vocal modulations, ornaments, experimenting with different styles, and teaching and seeing her students actively grow as a musician.

Sochipem Kashak is one of the leading musicians from the north-east, India. He is a gifted singer, songwriter, guitarist and a music teacher. His passion for music was traced back to his early age when he was aged 5, since then, he has never stopped singing and playing instruments. He did his grade 8 from Trinity College London, top the exam from all India. He is the founder member of a Christian band “THE EPISTLES”.

For his contributions to music, he has done two 2 years of training on teaching music and composition organized by Carnegie Hall, New York 2008 – 2009, also attended training program at Carnegie Hall, New York in 2009 for the same. He has been teaching western music (vocal and instruments) in Delhi Public School – Dwarka since 2007 and joined Bridge Music Academy as faculty member in 2010. He was known for his love and care for the children.

Siddharth SharmaMusic Production

Siddharth Sharma

Music Production

Siddharth Sharma is a music producer, engineer and composer based in New Delhi with a higher national diploma in sound production from Adam Smith College, Scotland, UK. He also holds a degree in multimedia and is certified professional for ProTools (the most widely used digital audio workstation for music and post production). He is trained in advanced recording, mising and mastering techniques for film and music.

He is currently working as a freelance engineer/producer and has worked on various projects in India and UK producing bands such as Felix Champion, Monsters on Movie Poster, Frequency along with background score for 2 documentary films for PGIMER (Chandigarh).

Also a gifted and highly trained guitar player, Siddharth is composing and producing for his electronic music project “Stereo Buddha”, which launched their debut album ‘Evaporate’ in 2013 are a working on their 2nd album now. He has performed at various music festivals in in England, Russia and most of South East Asia.
